There are many advantages to using Lightburn over the Neje Software. If this is the Neje you own, then this is the tutorial for you.Īdvantages of Lightburn over Neje Software Master 2S (auto-homing, 32 bit) - This is the newer, 32-bit version of the Neje Master 2. This 2S tutorial MAY work for you as this board is closer to that in this tutorial. I do not own one of these boards, so I do not have a tutorial available. Master 2 (auto-homing) - This is a newer version board of the same Master 2 16-bit Neje. Master 2 (non-S, non-homing) - Tutorial Here - This is the older version of the Master 2 which does not support auto-homing. Master (Original) - This Neje does not support Lightburn and does not have an available tutorial. If you do not have an ‘S’ after the 2, then this is NOT the correct tutorial for you. There are multiple versions of the Neje Master. MUST READ: Verify you are on the correct tutorial!

Out of the box, it performs well for simple tasks, but if you want to do more, you’re going to need to take advantage of alternative software and the Master 2s’ability to accept regular Gcode. The Neje Master 2S is a small, affordable laser engraver with a strong following.
